Growing up with cerebral palsy since birth has often been a confusing struggle which brought on complicated family relationships. I struggled with feelings of low self-worth and feeling like a burden for being brought into a world that simply wasn't made to cater for me. With Bev's expertise & guidance, she taught me to turn my hardships into creativity, and taught me the power of giving myself a voice when I felt silenced through writing and journaling. All it took was the courage to believe I deserved to be heard. Now I am forever grateful to her for giving me that courage.

I have made the most impactful work on my mental health with Bev's help. I am so relieved to have found a calm and supportive counsellor. Bev is a kind, charismatic and direct presence that makes our sessions feel safe, open and non judgmental. Without Bev's patience and guidance in both couples and private counselling I wouldn't be nurturing my growth or have a desire to better myself and my relationship.

Our journey with our daughter had been challenging in many ways, but when she
came to me and said she wanted to do life better, I knew that Bev would be the perfect counsellor for her. Bev's compassion, friendliness and her ability to be real as well as her warmth and encouragement to push through the hard stuff was what our daughter needed. After 2 months of counselling our daughter had learnt more about herself and gained a greater understanding about how to manage her thoughts and emotions in a balanced and healthy way. This has helped her to make better decisions for her life.

Bev was my light in some of my darkest days. From the very beginning she created a safe space where I felt safe, I could grow as an individual, felt respected and truly seen. Her approach was honest and direct but always grounded in care. She challenged me in the ways I needed - not with judgment but with compassion. Bev helped me build healthy boundaries and begin healing in a way I never thought possible. I’m deeply grateful for the impact she has had on my life.

I am grateful for the positive changes she has sparked within me and for helping me see the world in a new light.
